spacers and shackels will work, but then you will need longer shocks, brake lines, and your steering set up, you will need a high steer if you dont already have one, maybe longer control arms....lots of stuff changes when you go that high

Y do you need anything taller than a 36?

You don't need anymore lift to fit them. I could fit 37s if I wanted to and I'm at 6.5". Cut more, lift less.

I would either skip the idea on bigger tires or cut more. Lifting higher isn't always the best choice.

What axles you running? Lockers?

I'd like to know that too...It would be interesting to see how the dana 30/35 hold up under 36's...I've never heard of anyone doing it...everyone just replaces them it seems.

they dont lol

the dana30 can hold up if you are smart about it and its fairly built. expect to go through wheel bearings often

the dana35 has no hope, breaking it is inevtiable

As KTM already wisely noted.

1st rule of bigger tires. Address axle weakness.
2nd rule of bigger tires, first learn rule number one

As for rear clearance, a better solution to going higher is either hacking your quarter panels or properly sized bump stops.

Even a 44 is is questionable unless you're either a gifted driver and/or staying one fairly easy terrain.

Although if you're determined to go bigger, I'd recommend hacking the quarter panels.
