Anyone have blacked out emblems/decals or badges?
I figured that considering I have a silverstone jeep that smoking my tail lights and blacking out my emblems/decals and badges would look nice but I don't know how to go about it? They seem to be that plasticky rubbery type of emblem that once you take it off you won't get it back on....
Any pics of it done?
Any good ways to do it?

I started doing this this past weekend. I'll see about getting some pics up. I have a black XJ so I didn't go all the way black with the emblems. I used a Krylon textured paint for plastics. It has a dark gray/ gunmetal look.
Too new to post pics directly but here's a link to blacked out badges on my "Big Girl" the blacked out emblems are on page 6 I think. This was done on the truck with painters tape a razor and patience... I scuffed them and used a satin paint specifically for plastics followed by 3 applications of spray paint auto clearcoat. Some nicks over the 3yrs but easy to touch up also.
