Actually no I didn't. So no one has ever had any dyno proven gains with head work etc and a programmer? So what its buyer beware. All the claims are false? Help me understand. Not trying to be smart, I really want to know. I pride myself on being a decent mech. Allbeit mustangs and vettes. I do my own work. So I'm always ready to learn something new. Even when it means appologizing for being wrong. Wich. It appears I am.lol. so I'm sorry.lol.
Also. I don't partake in someone callingsomething a myth just because they say it is. I need dyno proof. There willbe a lot of people who will have some false advertising lawsuits.lol

degreeing the cam will help, your changing the timing at the source. hydraulic lifters and mech. lifters only do what the cam tells them to do. If the cam lobes are not where the PCM thinks they are wala more power (if you did it right). and without changing the cam you could throw in a set of rhoads lifters and POW same cam acts like a big cam, or a set of adjustable pushrods (but that's way more time consuming) the CPS is not going to be able to tell where the cam is in relation to the crank, and the distributor won't know the cam has been moved cause it can only go in one way.

The XJ cam has such a minimal lift that it appears in that pic only 2 valves are on lift.
