I am partial to the JCR stuff since they are close and the guys do a great job. Prices are for bare steel I think (they might prime or paint for you). They do offer powdercoat for extra. These are good solid bumpers, can't go wrong. Not super-cheap for the rears, though.

for starters, pulling people out in reverse is a good thing.
JCR is good stuff... there are bumpers out there that anchor to the rig, and reinforce the rig much better, but with all things of that nature the $ associated climb higher.

I'd stay away from Nates...He makes good products from what I have read but I have read a lot lately with long delivery times, no communication, and various other issues..

Here's a place I found... Sounds pretty cheap. It was one the www.detoursusa.com website. Kind of buried in an article...
Also, the statement that it is good to pull people out in reverse is not correct. When you are the Jeep doing the pulling the preferred direction is to hook the tow line up to your rear hitch and pull by going forward.
If you pull in reverse the helical cut pinion gears try to pry themselves apart. Pulling in forward makes the gear teeth lock into each other better.

***Need a bumper skin? They're available at jcwtruck.com for as little as $39.95, part number AJT492541 (84-96) part # AJT269735 (97-01)***

I wonder how many people know that?
I can't figure out if the guy who said that it's a good thing to pull someone out in reverse was being sarchastic or what?
