While passing legislation is a step in the right direction, I, as a former Kommiefornia resident, don't have a lot of faith it will do any good out there. California is already over legislated, in several areas, but none of it means a damn thing, if you don't ENFORCE those laws. AB41 is a great example. While it hasn't made thievery legal, it's definitely emboldened criminals because the penalty is a ticket, and a misdemeanor for under $950 of value on items stolen, then the soft on crime DA's don't bother pressing charges in a ton of cases. There's no consequences.

That said, I think we need to stop short there, as the conversation is borderline a political discussion...so let's just end it here.
