Antenna Grommet/Base Replacement?
i had a new fender put on and it looks like the top plastic/rubber part that covers the hole and mounts the antenna went missing. I don’t want to run a whole new wire through the jeep to the radio, so was hoping I could just find that piece missing. I’m on my phone so can’t add he photo right now, but will update.
Looking for upper part
Thanks

Just had to replace that on my '99. The plastic piece that goes above the fender is part #: 56038507AB. Will run ~$31.00 anywhere you look. If you need the nut that screws onto the antenna, it should be this part #: 56007570AB. I didn't see a year for your XJ. I think there were some differences from 97-2001 but that looks like what I have on my 99.
These aprt numbers should cover all the antenna pieces.
56038 505AB - BASE, Antenna
56038 507AB - ESCUTCHEON, Antenna
56007 570AB - CAP NUT
5600 8917 - Antenna MAST
5603 8506 - PLUG
2860 332 - PLUG, Anti-Rattle

Download the parts catalog for your year. While you are at it download the rest of them. Having the rest sometimes helps when hunting in the boneyard for parts. While it is a pretty safe bet that most, if not all things, '97 and up are the same and '96 down are the same many things from '96 down will work on '97 and up. Gives you an idea of what you might be able to do.
