Default Another ? for ya.

I've been having a hard time finding a moderatly priced axle for my truck. All I'm looking for is a stocker. I broke the lower control arm bracket right off the axle and was just going to replace the whole thing. But, is it possible that someone sells weld on brackets for this situation? Because, after some thought I cant see spending $550 to fix what a welder can do for 40 bucks? Maybe I can get someones opinion on what can be done.

Any help?

Thanks guys

Do you still have the broken part? You can always get it welded back on and re-inforced. It would be stronger than stock.

Yeah I still have everything, part of the bracket is still attached to the lower control arm. So maybe tack it back together then reinforce with more steel. The more and more I think about it I really dont need a whole axle just because of this problem.

Yeah i would get some flat stock and tack it back in place then check for fitment and clearance Then finish welding it up. Then re-enforce it as much as possible.
