Don't know where to start. About a month ago went to leave the drive and had no window wipers, stereo Etc. replaced the key switch and tumbler, While inside the steering column, noticed a wire loose, fixed it as best we could and went on. Everything working as it should, then about 2 days later I noticed that the low beams were flickering as we were driving down the road. The wire came loose again. didn't realize this and went on and replaced the headlight switch and the dimmer switch. Then there were more problems. now I had no low beams at all and high were working. Put a good steering column in no lights at the start, flip the highbeams they all come on and go right back out, hit the switch again the highs come on but I now loose all power to the low beams... I went ahead and put a better HeadLight and dimmer switch in, checked all the wires. replaced connectors that could be replaces, and fixed the damaged hot wire leading to the headlight switch, and even tried to reground at the headlight..
Now the Jeep is a 90 the column also was very wobbly. needed to be replaced. and the column is out of an 89.
I am at a complete loss
