Default another death wobble?

ok ive read lots of the death wobble story's, heres mine
i got the jeep first week i get the death wobble, i work for a shop so i put it in and they replace the steering stabilizer. ok after reading lots of story's and finding that it only masks the real problem, i figured id wait to see if it comes back. of course it did, when going about 70 mph down the highway and seeing noting but stopped traffic a head, i hit the brakes and just about put my self into a wall.
any way i put it back in the shop and they found nothing wrong
no bad ball joints, tie rod, links, and the alignment was dead on. so ill be checking the wheel balance after work but is their any other things i should check?
sorry for the long post just trying to get as much info out at once.
thanks in advance

Umm if you hit the brakes and it cuts the wheel that's not death wobble...death wobble is when the front end shakes violently and trust me you will fear for you life if it does and only way to stop is slow down.. If you hit the brakes and it cuts to one side that's a brake issue not death wobble. I'd be looking at caliper, pads and so forth on the brakes..

I agree with OKCJeeper thats not DW thats something in the brakes going or gone , what year is it ??check your brake fluid first, is it low ? if so something is leaking , look for wet spots and track it down from there.

Ok just how it was posted sounded like you hit the brakes and it headed for the wall..so sounded like brakes pulling on ya..

Death wobble causes.. ball joints, axle ujoints, tie rod ends and draglink, lose or bad track bar and maybe bad axle side bushings, bad unit bearing/hub assembly. that pretty much covers the front end.. So make sure tre's are tight, trackbar is tight and the axle bushings aren't shot, then check the axle ujoints and last resort remove and inspect the unit bearing/hub assembly. beyond that replace the tre's even if the say they are good. Also if ya tear down to inspec the hub assemblies replace the axle ujoint at the same time for good measure.

Have someone turn the wheel back and forth while you sit under the front end and check out each joint, especially the trackbar ends. You may want to try balancing the tires because they are a well known death wobble inducer.

have you checked for play in the gear box? disconnect the steering linkage and shake the pitman arm. sometimes the sector shaft starts getting loose. you can also check the intermediate shaft u-joints. some you can replace and some you cant. hope this helps
