Default Amp & cap question

Ok, So I plan to run 2 amps. One multi channel for the main speakers, and a 2 channel for my subs. The multi channel is 960W total 55w x4 at 4 ohms, 80w x4 at 2 ohms, and 160w x2 at 4 ohms bridged. This amp doesn't have the option of switching the channels, so I will be using the 55w portion.(over kill yes, but I snagged it a kit mis-marked for less than half the retail price and sold off the speakers and ended up with a free amp, might as well use it) The subs will be powered by a 2/1 channel 760W amp, and the 2 channel puts out 250w x2 at 4 ohms. The subs are 12 inch pioneers. Now I've heard horror stories of people frying their alternators, killing batteries, and having their headlights severely dim when the bass hits. So with it being a newer jeep still under warranty I picked up a cap as a precautionary measure (as I was told they store extra juice for when the heavy bass hits). The cap is capable of 1600W total, and runs 1100W RMS. Will I fry my amps and speakers with this cap? I know the nominal output of the cap is higher than either of the amps, but will it harm anything? Is it possible to connect it to both of the amps, and in theory will it cut down the 1100W total and distribute 550W equally to both? Any other ideas or advice?

idk much about caps. but there just kinda like a second battery for power to be drawn from when there is a shortage. they dont increase the power. so i think u should be fine. an optima battery will do you wonders! red or yellow top its beats the oem battery. sadely, tonight i blew my front 6.5's only had 200 watts going to em heading to car toys tomorrow!
