does anyone know where the stock amp is on a 98 jeep cherokee limited it has the infinty sound system ????????

 

I thought i read once it was under the rear seat

 

i looked under the seat and did not see anything

 

It is under the rear driver's side seat. It it the black box with cooling fins on it. If it is not there, it may have been removed for some reason, or your XJ did not have that option. I am not positive that all Limiteds had that system as standard trim. Do you have the seperate oem tweaters in the front doors (top front triangle)? If so, you have the Infinity system, if not, you have the stock system.

I think something has went wrong with the amp and I have the tweeters and its got infinity stamp on the tweeters
