Default Alternator ground work

Doing my first engine swap and I don't know what size nuts I need to ground the alternator. Also do the two ground wires that connect the battery terminals ground to the stud with the black tab ? Any help would much appreciated.

Not sure what you mean with the size of the nuts. The alternator grounds through its mounting bracket. The black molded block is nothing more than a thing to hold the wires. There is nothing more in there and allows for easier mounting on the field terminal connections.

Oh ok I see how to ground it to the mounting bracket. Let send you a couple pictures so you see what I'm talking about.

I think they're pretty standard like a 10 mm. Can't recall it being a weird one when I did my alternator recently.

It's dark here now so tomorrow if you've not received an answer from others by then, I'll go out to the jeep and have a look for ye.
