Thanks for that - we think kind of alike. I recently purchased "60Pcs Car Auto Spring Clip Fuel Oil Water Hose Pipe Tube Clamp Fastener 6 Sizes" on ebay (from China).With any luck I will get them before Christmas...

BUT - how did you isolate your issue to the canister ?

I didn't , I just went though the system and was checking all the hoses for looseness and if any were cracking that could leak .

On my 2000 it was the line from tank to the charcoal canister the rubber ends were shot and the metal line was rusted all the hell.
