As a side note, the XJ trim packages for the renix years have Limited as the top of the line, not Sport. The original information had a typo. Sport is just a step above the base model. The Limited has the most options and luxury trim.

i found it to be very helpful. who cares who gets credit for it.
sticky hood latches. yes on the spray on lithium grease on the
catches and locks. with hood up, wd40 down the cable will FIX
the hard pull that comes after time. spray, let "soak" in, repeat,
work cable with hood up a few times.

This is cool and everything, but almost all of this information can be found on Wikipedia, and is probably formatted better there. There are enough sticky threads as is. Thanks for the post though.
