Hi Guys,
my jeep as a serious airlock, when I fill her up everything goes ok till 1st click, then it takes approx 15min and longer to fill the rest up (still another 15-20l).
Do all the jeeps have this problem? or has the previous owner maybe done something to her? She takes about 85 liters.

EVERY gas tank has a breather line that allows air out as fuel goes in.
The XJ tanks breather tube is no exception, BUT for some unknown (to me) reason it does take longer than most to "top-off"
I have a hypothesis though:
The upper port of the breather tube gets filled with gas sooner than the neck of the tank causing a pressure relief paradox.
What does that mean?
I have no friggin clue but it sounds cool.

the reason it only does it at the end is that is when the gas doesnt have any where else to go it will cause foaming when you start the tank has more room to let the gas vapors expand
