i believe there is a little sensor mounted to the radiator support. its not a crush sensor but a senor that senses a sudden decrease in speed. now that i think about it it might be mounted somewhere else. the temp sensor for overhead display is mounted on the rad. support. I know for a fact whats highlighted in green is true.

after reading this it probably did not help you in any way.

Yea it kinda did. As long as its not a crush sensor im not worried about it then. Cuz i was pushing and prying on the front end and it slipped my mind one time about the airbag sensor. I know on other cars there is a crush sensor. So that is good news that the jeep dont have that. But now that i think about it. I wonder where that little sensor is really at. Im just curious now.

Ok i know this is not exactly the same topic, but xjrev10, i need this temp sensor since i recently added the overhead console. Where exactly is it located (pics) or what is the exact name of the part so i can look for purchase at az or somewhere else?

Thanks a ton!

Hello all,

I somewhat have the same problem. Except, my airbag is deployed and I need to locate the sensor. Is there any more specific details on where the sensor is located?

what is a good source for one?
