Today, randomly, nothing new in my driving: my airbag light went on and my cruise control stopped working. Turn signals and wipers work fine. 1998 Cherokee Sport

noticed anything else not working??

i dont have cruise control, but similar incident recently started happening to me....first time, airbag dash light was on, only thing i noticed not working was my head unit....before i had a chance to check fuses, i went to turn off the ignition & felt the key slip into the ignition a bit more & the radio turned on & airbag light went off

just last night, everything working normally, had my windows down, went to shut them, switches werent illuminated & couldnt shut them, but head unit was working....had airbag & brake lights on in the dash....tried pushing the key in, but nothing....turned the ignition off, then on, & everything was back to normal operation

im also interested if anybody's had this issue.....my assumption is something is loose/bad connection in the ignition, switched power feed for certain circuits maybe?

 

Just checked my fuses. The ones associated with the airbags are good and I cleaned the ports. The fuse list in my manual doesn't show which is associated with cruise control. Anyone know which fuse it is?
