Default Airbag/Engine idiot lights

I drive a 2000 XJ LTD.
I had strange phenomenon occur on the way home - as I was cruising down the last side road approaching home at a low speed, the air bag light came on. I was a bit astounded at that.
I could not imagine what would cause that.
Then about 10 seconds later, the engine light came on.
Now I'm even more weirded out.
So, I take the foot off the gas and just slowed down by breaking for a couple seconds to evaluate things.
The instant I removed my foot from the break, the idiot lights went off.
Is this cause for any concern?
Some wiring getting loose? A fuse?
Any ideas?

You have a very common problem. More then likely your problem is that you have a loose or dirty connections in back of the cluster or a bad ground back there.
