so my brother gave me this intake for free off his f150 cuz he is swapping motors in it and it wont fit anymore for some reason, so i put it on my 96 cherokee, it seems to work fine and sounds nice when i rev over 2k rpm. but I have a question, what is the little hose that went to the stock air filter box? do i need to buy a filter for that? do they even make filters for that?



(Yes, i do plan to take the stock box all the way out when i have time)

 

they make small filters for that.. they are call breathers.. that like is just to provide air to the engine inside where the oil goes,, you can take the hose off and put a small breather in its place..
