What Im planning on doing is changing the plastic intake tube for some smooth Pipe then drop in a Square K&N. The stock pipe doesn't help air flow with its bump, Also thinkin of running a pipe to the cowl or somewhere to get fresh air. Plus most def keep the stock box. could even heat tape the whole thing so it won't transfer as much heat.

defenitly post them. i'de like to see it. i'm truing to get my filter to be beside the mastercylinder. i'll post a build of it wen i get parts. thinking 3" flex exhaust pip and cutting the stock rubber down past the ribbed flex part to have it be more smooth inside. then maybe a fender vent. like the m3 vents only functional

They make hydro shields for these intakes. I kept the lower portion of the airbox in my jeep an then put a hydro shield on it for even more protection.
