Air box question

Okay my dodge charger's air box has a tunnel system to get air from the bottom of the front bumper. On the jeep after seeing this where does the jeep get it's air from all I see is dead ends.

Yeah! it is kind of a stupid set up. But a few people have removed a the plastic piece in the core support and ran a hose out the front to get more air in from the front. Or just run some flex hose from the air box out to the front and routing it how ever you want. Like how DFlintstone has in his pict.

That tube is just the heated air intake, where it draws warm air off the manifold when it's cold. The main inlet is on the front where I gave the screen
