Red face Ahhhh help i need an exhaust manifold

I need to find one. Not too pricy but not cheeply made either. I found one on eBay. Says it's for my jeep and it's only 86 $. Am I being too cheap? Or just getting a good deal. It looks stainless. My better half has limited me to 100$ or less. Where can I look??

i buy tons of stuff from ebay, but if you find a $300 item on ebay for 50 bucks and it has no brandname, then i'd spend my money carefully. i mean if it was something that can easily be taken off and put back on, it wouldn't be half as bad, but headers take a while. as a matter of fact i finished mine about 4 hours ago. i would say replacing just the headers is about a 3-4 hour job on an XJ.

Cool

No worries. I'm a little harder than that to let words get to me like that. 2 tours in the sand will do that to you

Cool

Just did some digging on that manifold on eBay and the company selling them. The manifolds are a Borla side brand. Quality steel and welds. A real and true pic of the manifold shows robotic welding and 440 stainless. 5/32 thick wall. Should be plenty good for what I want

yea I was looking at those too, they dont make them for the 89 though cause they changed in 91 with the ho engine, so the other cheapest one for me was like 160 and I people said it wasnt good. I'm just gonna get one from the junk yard if I do need one when I do my gaskets.
