Question Aftermarket tranny cooler?

My XJ did not come with a tranny cooler from what I understand, due to it not coming from the factory with the towing package(from what I understand)

I'm contemplating on ordering one from rustys http://rustysoffroad.com/mm5/merchan...y_Code=PER-COO

Is it worth the trouble? I do not tow anything nor do i plan on it either, thanks for your time.

Imo tranny coolers are worth their weight in gold. Even if you don't use it for towing they can still get hot on long climbs especially in hot weather. While you're at it you might as well install a gauge to keep track of the temps.. just my 2 cents

The Duffman speaks true. Tranny Coolers are one of those few mods that doesn't cost a lot, but the benefits are huge. Oh, not in a performance standpoint, but by ensuring your expensive automatic tranny doesn't overheat and die a horrible grinding and expensive death at the worst possible time.
