Default after tune up wont run!!!!

i just did new plugs,wires,cap,rotor... cranks but no start anyone have any ideas

Wrong firing order, distributor is slightly off...possibly unrelated issue...

coil wire not on right one.. ? coil wire got unpluged ? forgot rotor ?

I think you should consider your username - sumtinsimple, because it's probably just that. LOL Did you happen to disconnect your battery while doing this or leave an accessory on? Maybe check your battery output if you can. Good luck!

are you checking the firing order by the numbers on the cap or by how you took it apart?

I also second something not getting hooked back up. Coil wire, etc. It`s all pretty easy minus putting the plugs in. If we assume that was done correctly (It`d be hard to mess up) then I`d suggest just taking the cap, rotor and wires back off and starting again. Should only take a few minutes

does anyone know the firing order on the 4.0? i did my first tune up in my life and think i messed up my plugs so if anyone knows the piston order and distributor cap order that'd be great!!

what kind of engine you have? i have the 4.0 and called pep boys and they said the i6 and it goes from front cylinder to the back 1-6. and on the distributor cap it goes 6-2-4-1-5-3 clockwise form the port closest to the engine andthe firewall

would it turn over without the ground plug? and what are all of the outside connections of the distributor. its the spark, or thats what it sounds like...
