Hi,

my local dealers, now that there are some again, frequently don't have or else are too high, on interior and body parts. I'm looking for a source for aftermarket pieces, specifically plastic body parts and dash pieces, as the Texas sun has dried some of mine out. Like the plastic trim on the back hatch that covers the plate light. The other day it just cracked all to hell. And my 5 speed shift boot is deteriorating. Other than spending all my time in a junk yard, where most of what I need is also going to be sun worn, I'd like to find a source for stuff. Is there a catalog, like there is for so many other vehicles, that sells replacement parts?

They make plastic trim paint and such your local napa should have all those goodies. That might save you a pocketful of dough, and work out for you.

 

thanks for the info, I'll check those out. kbad, I'm in North Texas. Most of my local wrecking yards don't have a decent selection, if any. It's getting to the stage where I am needing to replace several pieces that have just gotten old and broken with wear. My drivers seat, I've had the frame welded back together, but it's breaking again.

 

Always Oem for me... if you cant find parts just put a want ad for parts on here..
