Adjustable long arms
Hey guys, I'm about to order IRO's Critical Path 5.5" LA kit and there are a couple options they offer that bump the price up 200 bucks. I'm wondering what the advantage of both are, mainly the adjustable LA's.
I went ahead and checked the JKS Quicker Disconnects and added them to my cart for 89.99. I figure these are worth the money so, I'm not going too in depth about those.
Now, adjustable long arms... Most of the kits I've seen don't seem have adjustable LA's. What's the deal? Why are adjustable LA's preferred? Worth a $100 dollar upgrade?

I personally wouldn't pay for the adjustability factor especially with only 5.5" of lift. The adjustment is an advantage for someone going pretty tall where a fixed length arm will "pull" the axle back more. I believe IRO explains the fixed length arms vs adjustable arms on their site.
As far as the disconnects, I probably wouldn't pay for those either ha. No swaybars ftw.

the adjustability is definitely worth the extra money. it allows you to position the axle where it needs to be after lift as far as caster angles/other alignment factors are concerned. i dont think ive ever seen a Long Arm kit on a vehicle that didnt have adjustable arms. its just something you need to have to be able to set things up properly. if you dont its just going to lead to problems down the road.
