Howdy all,

I have done a ton of searching and reading threads about this to no avail.

I just bought another xj, a 98 with manual locks and windows and want to swap over the power lock and windows from my 99, along with the keyless entry.
I know many people are of the opinion that manual windows/locks are better, but I want power as I'm planning to make this my dd.

I have everything for the swap since i have a complete 99, my question pertains to the wiring though. I've heard that all 97+ have all wiring regardless of the options, is this true? Will the power options all be plug and play? Secondly, will it have the wiring for the keyless entry? I know I'll have to swap the chip thing in the overhead light but am wondering if the wiring is there as well.
