I purchased a 2000 Jepp Cherokee.
I have 2 keys, which both work correctly. I saw that 2 keys are needed in order to be able to add a new one.
I purchased a black key that I had cut.
And tried to follow the instructions to add this new key to the Immobilizer system.
I try to follow the instructions:
First key ON, during 10 seconds, then the 2nd key and the immobilizer light should blink to add the 3rd new key. But I do not manage to get this step with the blinking light on the dash with the 2nd keyinserted.
I tried several times, doing also exactly what is shown on youtube.
Is it possible that the system is different for Export? (not possible to add a key) Or is there something else whiwh could cause the procedure not to work?
