Adding Fog Lights
I have been looking around to see what it would take to add the stock fog lights to my 2000 XJ Sport. Is the wiring there and its just a matter of putting the switch and lights in?
Any feedback is helpful!!
Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure about the wiring, but the holes for the lights should already be in the bumper, they have plastic plugs in them. I installed lights on mine I run a relay from the battery and installed a toggle switch in the dash. if you go the route I did make sure you use an inline fuse close to the battery.
There should be a plug somewhere near the bottom of the radiator and bumper that is the stock wiring for factory fogs. All you need to do is plug the fogs in and then buy a switch and plug that in on your bezel inside.
Adding fogs to a rig not originally equipped with them is never a "Plug & Play" project.
XJ's with OEM foglights have a Fog lamp Relay installed in the PDC. If your rig did not have the lights from the factory then the relay is not there, nor is the wiring to the relay socket in the PDC.
Need a simple diagram to wire 'em up? Here ya go...
