So I already have an RE 4.5 inch lift on my XJ. I really want to put some 2in coil spacers up front and some 2in shackles in the rear. As far as the back goes I have block's already, so is adding some shackles ok? Will I have to extend anything like hose's? And running 6 inches of lift will I want to think about a SYE? Any tips or advice is welcome, thanks guys!

 

Yeah, running 6" of lift it'll be a good time to seriously start considering a SYE. if your brake lines aren't already extended now would be a smart time to do those too. from the research I've done you should be ok with 2" shackles and a 1" block in the rear.

 

ok, Since I do have a block in the back would it be better to just go spend the 150 and buy a set of leaf springs to match the lift in the front? Would doing away with the block help my ride at all?

 

get new leafs, a shackle and ditch the block

they are bad news (especially on a wheeler)
