Default add a leafs?

hey i was wondering your opinions on whether or not to go with add a leafs or to get all new leafs. Is it worth the extra dollars or should i save it for something else? I am on a budget...

I don't know from personal experience, but from what I've read, they tend to sag after about six months. I'm sure someone will chime in with more specifics.

If you can get new packs then do it. The money is worth it. get a good set tho. a cheep set of leaf packs can be dangerous.

I don't like the add-a-leaf b/c if you don't have the straps on tightly then they can kick out to the side and be a real pain to get into place. When I bought my XJ it had a RC 3" add-a-leaf kit on it with a 1.5" block. Apparently the add-a-leaf alone would not bring the stock pack up to 3". Anyways, the guy who installed the kit did a terrible job on the straps and basically gave up. After about 2 months of wheeling, I was fed up with kicking them back into place. I promptly bought a full pack and couldn't be happier with the improved ride quality.

Get full packs because you will be replacing the add a leaf after a few months. No need to do the same work twice.

I had an add a leaf and a block in the rear before i went with iron rock offroad full pack. Definately worth the 300ish i spent, ride quality, flex improved aloooottt. I had the add a leaf and block for almost a year, would never go that route agian, save the money and get the right thing.

Im driving mine aroudn without shocks right now, waiting on the bar pin eliminators to arrive. Its a lil bouncey but seem to take bumps well. If it is stiffer than stock i cant really feel it. and for $100 you cant go wrong.

I bought add-a-leafs 6 months ago and am noticing the sag. It was sagging before the lift, but the AAL's don't help. Looking into full pack replacements now and wish I'd have saved the $$ in the first place . . .
