Im currently installing a 4.5" lift on my 96 cherokee and i have the front done. But in the rear, the center pin on my leaf springs wont line up with the upper leaf when i jack the axle up to compress the springs.
Any advice on how to compress the springs easier and get the pin to line up?

Stick a screwdriver thru the hole then jack it and clamp it in place then when you get it all set remove the screwdriver and put the bolt in.

Use a long rod and a couple of "C" clamps on the spring. put the center bolt in, then attach the axle.
