I'm sure we've all seen this on sale a Jegs and I'm looking to pull the trigger on it. Everything looks good but I don't know about the plugs. Who has experience with this kit or plugs and can tell me if our XJs like them?

Thanks,
s

I've had the complete Accel kit in mine for about 3k miles. I used their cap, rotor, wires and plugs. I'm happy with the way it runs.

I need someone with an Advanced Auto Parts account to 'refer a friend'. You get $10 and I get 40% off my order. First to PM me and note it on this thread (so I don't get mass PMs) wins.

Thanks,

I used the code BIG40 and got $40 off a $100 order.

I ordered the Accel kit, not installed yet. Also ordering some sensors as well as a few other parts.

I actually split the order to get two discounts.

BIG40 got me $40 off $105 ( ordered in my name )
BIG30 got me $30 off $80 (ordered in wifes name )

Got $185 in parts for $115

Although there may be better plugs out there, I used the Accel ones since they came in the kit. I've been very happy with the results from this boxed set. Of course, I was 150k ticks on the odo and I'm not sure if anything had been replaced by the previous owner. Fuel economy improved slightly (back to about 19 mpg in town).

I've pretty much always use Bosch Platinum in the XJs and been quite satisfied. I swear by Accel wires and have used them for quite a few years now. You get great performance and longevity out of them at the cost of standard wires. I might have to try the Accel plugs next tune up.
