Ac problem 87 cherokee

Ac problem 87 cherokee
I have a 87 jeep Cherokee the Clutches In my compressor burnt out so I got another compressor and down I'n the fuse box where a fuse goes to the blower motor it looks like somebody has took a screwdriver and jabbed the prongs back so my guess is it got hot a melted a fuse will not go In because the metal prongs are to far back
