Default Ac inconsistent

Hey guys,

My air conditioner in the jeep is acting weird. I just had it recharged and dyed and there wasn't any leaks a few weeks later when I got it checked.

Lately It will work for 15-20 minutes really well, and the call of a sudden it warms and has that warm smell to the air. If I shut it off for several minutes it seems to work again, or if I leave it running, it will sometimes start blowing cold again.

Thoughts? Bad compressor? Can lines get plugged?

Thanks!

To add onto this Original post, mine is somewhat inconsistent and also sounds very loud. When I turn the ac on I feel like I am turning a mini helicopter on under the hood. The car is much louder then my buddies 2001 and his had no vibration. Mine is a 2001 and while it does make more sounds and vibrate more its not really a bother. I am more or less just worried it is a bigger problem.?? Any ideas?

Yah, I'm just not sure what to do. I don't want to shell out more $$ to have it looked at. I tried to just use it on normal and not the recirculate setting, and for over an hour it worked fine. I'm gonna try and pinpoint it some more. Any ideas if it it doesnt work on recirculate? Is it freezing up something?
