Default AC High side switch test

How do I test the high side switch on my AC system to make sure it is working properly? Also, how can I jump it to see if my aux fan will run once the AC pressure has activated the switch? Lastly, are there any tricks to replacing the high side switch (e.g. - can I do this without removing the R134a)?

If you just want to test your fan, disconnect the cts on your water neck your electric fan will automatically come on. Connect a multimeter actross your high switch set for continuity, connect pressure guages to system when proper pressure is achieved there should be continuity.
