95 XJ. I know the aux fan comes on when the AC compressor comes on but neither turn on and the aux fan does not come on when temp gets high like it does on my 00 XJ.
I have swapped out the aux fan fuse and AC fuse, no joy. I read the diagnosis procedures at http://www.lunghd.com/Tech_Articles/..._Diagnosis.htm but it doesn't say anything about if both are not working.
Any ideas?

Hiya!
I saw a thread a lot like this a minute ago, odd, eh?
Anyhoo... IIRC the A/C compressor has a safety feature that won't allow it to turn on when there isn't enough pressure (or is it oil? Can't remember... sorry.) If the compressor isn't coming on, then neither will the Aux fan...
There's also a relay for your e-fan in the PDC, as well as the fuse. The relay could be bad...
Here's a thread for someone who had e-fan problems and went nuts trying to fix it. I'm hoping you will stay sane, as there are quite enough of us lunatics running around as is.

First of all, you need to direct wire or jumper the efan to see if it will work at all.
If it doesn't, replace the fan.
Then you can diagnose the A/C problem.
