belt was squealing bad when ac was on. replaced compressor/clutch assy, and new drier, and a new belt, now it is still doing the same thing== squealing when ac is on, and it gets louder the more throttle you give it. any ideas, i cant run ac or defrost untill i get it fixed. thanks

If the serpantine belt squeals ONLY when the A/C is on and NOT when it is off...and you have a known good A/C Pump...I'd say you straight up need to tighten the belt a little bit more. The sqealing you are hearing is the belt slipping on the A/C Pump pulley...when it has a load on it. Hope this helps.

You should only be able to push the belt in about a 1/2 inch in the middle between the waterpump and power steering pulleys when it is at the proper tightness.

the problem in the first place was more than likely the belt being loose. im sure all of this didn't need replacing.

the clutch needed replaced anyway. i have the belt prolly tighter than 1/2, but it squeels worse when i loosen it. on occasion belt would squeel just a little with out the a/c on but nothing like when its on. i checked water pump pully for play, and it seemed to be good.
