My son's 2001 Jeep Cherokee, 4.0. AC was charged last fall. Leaked down, I re-charged it a few days ago.
Question: When fully charged is the compressor supposed to cycle on and off with the AC on or remain engaged all the time when the AC is on.
2nd question: I used a sniffer to attempt to find the leak with no luck. Anyone know to find or have suggestions on leak detection?

The front seal may be leaking on the pump check for oil on the pully and clutch, the leak here can be very slow and undetectable. And the kicking on and off high humidity can keep it from turning off (so I have been told) also did you follow the temp chart guidelines when putting in the R134.
