2000 XJ with ABS

I have an ABS code for GSwitch malfunction

The trouble is, I can’t find a part number to match up.

The accelerator switch in my XJ is #56006315AB
But when I look that part number up on some sites like MoparPartsGiant, it says that part number is strictly for a 2001 cherokee (NOT a 2000)

I haven’t yet chased the ABS wiring harness to see if maybe it’s a chafed wire, but in case I need to buy a new switch I want to make sure I have the right one.

I checked the 2000 XJ parts catalog that I have and the switch isn’t even listed in it.
I also went to the junkyard to see if I could find a 2000 with ABS and no luck

any help would be appreciated

I’m not the original owner, so my concern is that maybe this something the previous owner threw in

as far as I can tell the part from an 01 is not compatible with my 00
