99 XJ water pump bad??

Hey all, got a small noticeable chirp coming from the front end. I took the belt off and checked the pulleys...

This ain't good I take it, and should spin freely without a noise.

Yup, I'm in the same boat. Mine quiets down once it warms up, but still annoying. Someday I'l change it.
