Hey guys I have a 99 XJ with the 4.0 and the AW4 transmission. When I go to start it up in the mornings it runs how it should in park, but when I go to shift it into reverse it immediately starts running terrible it bogs out and will eventually stall itself. After it's warmed up it also has an insanely loud ticking noise coming from the transmission I believe that will increase with RPM's but once it's past 2k or so RPM's it won't tick. I've replaced the CPS, IAC, TPS, and the NSS. I can get a video if it'd help out but any ideas would help out at this point.

Check the flexplate bolts for tightness.
A recording would be helpful.
