Hey folks, so I've been working out all of the electrical demons in my new XJ. Today I pulled the subharness for the liftgate to do some repair on it (two damaged wires) and soldered in some new sections of wire. Continuity test for every wire and ground shows that everything is good!

After reinstalling the harness and testing everything, the rear wiper/sprayer still is not working. The switch in the dash lights up and I can hear a periodic click from the rear wiper motor, but the arm's not moving. I'm assuming that's a bad/stuck motor which I'll have to look into further, but my bigger question is the sprayer. I'm not hearing the washer fluid pump kick on at all when I hold down the sprayer switch, and it goes without saying that no fluid is coming out. Any common links between these two problems that I should be checking?

 

Anyone? I'm going to go hunting for a new wiper motor, but the sprayer has me a bit stumped.
