99 Cherokee XJ Classic Speaker Issue
I'm currently having issues with my speakers in my cherokee and feel like
does any body have any suggestions to what may be wrong.. I have heard of issues people have but have not seen any fixes in my research?

Wiring in the door jamb is probably shorted out from years of opening and closing the door.

Well if the back ones are also not working, it seems like there is a power/wiring issue at the head unit itself. Can't really help much more than that. Does the head unit turn on?

You usually will find a break in the wiring in the door. Remove the door panel and disconnect the speaker wiring and trace it back. I had to make like an extra 6 inch piece of wire going to the speaker so it had some "give." You have to remove the rear passenger panel to see where the rear speakers plug in. again see if the speakers have wire running to them and trace it back. You can always run a jumper wire to see if the speakers work.
