99 cherokee sport/ half a bearing only...uh oh!
1999 Jeep Cherokee sport V6 4.0L
replacing wheel bearings! on passenger side no problem!
when pulling the driver side; short axle side; only half of the bearing came out!
how do i get the other half out!
broke the cage apart!
can not get the spacer out!
or middle race!
help!!!!!

finally got it lose using the power steering and a 1/2 inch drive extension with one end with the socket on the bolt and the other end with a loose socket turn around!
with the above arrangement wedge between the bolt and part of the steering system; something had to break with the pressure from turning the wheel! fortunately it was the rest of the hub assemble that was rusted to the steering knuckle!
