if it was a 02 sensor your check engine light would come on. it would come on if it was any kind of sensor problem so i would worry about sensors right now

wouldnt a vacuum leak cause it to do this all the time though

okay will it throw any codes without the light coming on r does the light always come on ...also i just had my transmision serviced the day before this started happening but i have checked the plug wires to make sure they didnt knock one off is there anything else they could have hit that would cause this

not that i know of. if its a code the light will come on. unhook the battery then hook it back up and see if the light comes on. mine was throwing a code when i got it and i didnt even know till i unhooked the battery then hooked it back up and the light came on

i would try a tune up. it couldnt hurt anything.

also i read somewhere that if you hear a gurgling sound in the back after you shut it off that that means there is a fuel issue ?

mine does it and i dont have a problem out of mine. i think its just the gas you hear splashing around in the tank.

okay thats what i thought too but i was reading around and it said that it could be a pressure regulator or some sort of valve messin up back there

ceck the fuel pressure while this is happening.. after an over night sit press in the valve on the fuel rail . if it shoots out 4 or more inches then that probably ok."somtimes the pump will bleed down overnight" also check you plugs n wires ,spray your wires with soapy water at night while the engine is runnin, look for a light show. if you see any sparks . Junk them..

i was just reading about a guy who had the same problem out of his and he fixed it by replacing the heated o2 sensor by the cat do these go out often
