I am on the 3 blower motor resister. The blower motor works on all the setting but high . On high it blows for 1 to 2 min the kicks off. Cycle the switch and it will come back on. I did not find any short in the harness. The after a month the resister dies. Auto zone brand, factory, and a napa brand .Any thought

 

Either shorted in the wiring or your blower motor is shorted internally. You go through all the positions with a multimeter or just a visual inspection?

 

Check out what salad mentioned. Normally if it's the blower motor resister it will fail and default to only work on 4 high and won't work on 1-3. So it is very doubtful that it was the resister to start with. Again like salad said you have a short somewhere.

Blower motor sounds like its bad its stopping because its tripping a circut breaker. Pull the blower motor out. I bet its almost seized
