I have searched, and sifted thru google to find out why the right AND left blinkers do not work ALL the time, is there somthing i should replace or where should i start

Ps im pretty mechanicaly inclined so theres not alot i cant do

Yes it is prolly your flasher relay going bad. It is common on xjs. Its located under neath your kick panel under your steering wheel.

 

Search youtube for jeep cherokee turn signal relay. It should bring up a vid of what you need to do to fix this

 

check your hazards to see if they work, if they do then the blinkers dont work because the relay under the headlight switch is not working, look on youtube as suggested
