Hi, new member and owner of a 98 XJ classic. Running into an issue with the drivers front power seat. Was not working when I purchased it. Pulled it out to see what I'm dealing with. First checked the fuse/relay, good. Then the voltage leaving at the connector..high 11's with just the ignition and high 12's with the engine on. Back to the garage and seat, used a 12 volt ac/dc brick plugged in the wall then to the seat connector. Getting no voltage to one of the motors, thinking bad switch. Replace the switch. Check again with the brick, motors are running well after some grease....yes!!! Seat goes back into the Jeep and connect,,,nothing. Sh$%t. Ok, maybe a bad connector. Run wires from male end to the female end of the connector. Voltage is there, but no motor movement. Kind of out of ideas at this point and the reason for my post. Any insight would be most appreciated!!!!! Oh, and thanks for having me.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately the truck is in the shop now. Once I get it back, I will test both your suggestions, thanks again.
