Assuming that your coolant is topped off... I've used CLR before to break up blockages in the heater core & it worked great.

Probably a vacuum problem, check all your vacuum lines.

yea the coolant is topped up, when i flushed the core it got warm at idle but then cold when driving.

That is a great idea.. I am ATFing my crankcase now.. does this (CLR the cooling system) really work? How do you do it?
